We had a very happy girl today who has been working hard with her literacy skills. Mrs Keegan was so impressed with her work that she sent her on a rainbow visit to share her learning with Mr Todd.
For Rememberance Day, Class 2 were learning about poppies and why people wear them. We spoke about poppies and that we wear them on November 11th to remember special people from the past. The pupils in Class 2 had a lot of fun painting poppies as part of our Rememberance Day celebration.

The girls in Primary 3 had lots of fun creating a picture using the green screen. By using digital photography in this way the children are able to discuss how this may already be used across the media.
An old, wrinkly, long-legged, grey haired , little witch came to visit us this week. We used the theme of Halloween to support our descriptive writing in class. The children shared lots of adjectives to describe our spooky visitor before writing about their own Halloween characters. .
